Tribute To Vanna White’s Cat Leaves Wheel of Fortune Audience In Tears

This past week, Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak announced to dedicated viewers that co-host Vanna White’s beloved cat, Stella, has passed away at the age of sixteen.

Wheel of Fortune, with whom White has been employed for over forty years, missed no opportunity to show the whole family love and support during this trying time. White was surprised with a thoughtful video tribute put together to honor Stella’s life.

The tribute included many adorable pictures of Stella, Vanna, and her family, along with several short clips from past Wheel of Fortune episodes in which Sajak and White talked about Stella and her many hilarious antics.

Stella was incredibly smart and would often perform hilarious stunts such as opening doors on her own, performing tricks for treats, and even drinking water from a glass. White was an incredibly proud kitty mom. She, along with the majority of the audience, was in tears by the end of the video.

White shared the thoughtful tribute on her personal Twitter page with the following caption:

“My sweet Stella has gone to kitty heaven. I miss her so much. Here are some special memories of the 16 years we had together” – Vanna White

Stella was a beautiful, intelligent kitty who made an everlasting impact on her entire family. White would frequently take to social media to share adorable photos of the pair snuggled up in bed with the hashtags #stellacat, #lovemycat, and #intotalbliss, indicating that Stella was, indeed, a very well-loved fur-baby.

Vanna White has long been an avid cat lover and has often been spotted volunteering at various shelters and rescue centers for kitties in need, a trait that she has passed on to several of her children. Will Stella’s passing make room in the White household for another kitty in need?

“She (Stella) was such a big member of our family, and she’s going to be missed so much. (We) love her to death.” – Vanna White

Fans of the show have taken to Twitter and Facebook to offer their condolences for the family’s loss. Fans shared photos of their own pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge to show love and support to the White family as they grieve.

What a beautiful tribute they did for her”, wrote another.

Best wishes to Vanna White and the entire family as they grieve the loss of sweet #stellacat.
